Honestly it would be hard to find a dog that has more to offer. Sky is very emotionally intelligent and picks up on changing vibes quickly and accurately. This coupled with her giant heart makes her bond tightly with her person. I think she'd make a great service dog. I have Generalized Anxiety and PTSD, and she dramatically reduces my episodes. She's mostly submissive but will place herself in front of her loved ones if she feels a threat is present. She NEEDS to be close to her person as much as possible, often needing to touch them in some way, whether resting her chin on a foot, or sitting on their lap (trust me she will try). She also needs to exercise, whether physically or mentally (she is very people pleasing and food motivated). She's sharp, and quick to learn anything (hard to break of habits because of this though). Honestly this is extremely difficult for me to do, I'm going through major life changes that are forcing me to let go of many things I love. Sky is fantastic with my 4 year old, other dogs, people (apprehensive around men with strong vibes, and sunglasses) but I've never had cats so I'm not sure how she'd do with them. She loves so much and so strong, she deserves someone who can give their all to her. I need her into another home by March 27, or I'll have to take her to a shelter unfortunately. She'll come with her gear, whatever food is left to make the transition as easy as possible, and more info about habits, tendencies, and known commands. Please consider this little blessing, she's truly one of a kind.
