Who's a good boy? Me, that's who! I'm Lenny. I'm about a year old and a nice compact size at 28 pounds, not too big and not too small. My records say I look like a Terrier mix and foster mom says my fur is so soft she just loves to pet me. I'm doing great at my foster home! I have other dogs to play and wrestle with, lots of people and kids to give me attention, and a nice crate to sleep in at night. Foster mom says I'm really quiet in the crate and she puts treats and toys in it as a reward. She even took me to an adoption event and I was a perfect gentleman and made lots of new friends -- two legged and four legged! I'm good at this house training business and I've learned how to use the doggy door which makes potty and play breaks so easy. I am SO affectionate and LOVE to cuddle next to you and especially love lap time! I'm doing pretty good on a leash, too and will do even better with training. Oh, yeah - I'm neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations and monthly preventatives. I am the complete package, baby! Apply to adopt me today. I WILL BE AT THE ADOPTION EVENT AT THE PETVALU IN PASADENA ON SUNDAY, 3/4. STOP BY TO MEET ME!! This dog tested positive for heartworm disease before arriving to the rescue. Heartworm disease is transmitted to a dog through a bite from an infected mosquito producing a positive test in six months. OPH will treat the dog and provide two weeks of recovery time prior to adoption. Potential adopters will receive detailed information on the disease and their role in completing the recovery process from OPH's heartworm coordinator. With monthly preventatives, the disease is completely preventable.
