Please read entire description and contact the veterinary clinic directly to inquire about adoption at the email [email protected] . Boxer (gray and white) and Mouse (black) are littermates that were found living outside with 3 other young kittens. Right away, it was apparent that they were different than the rest. Both kittens had severe deformities of all 4 paws, creating an unusual conformation with the pads and nails. They could not live outside with the others for their safety. I don't think they understood they were different, they were doing just as well! Since arriving in June 2017, they have adjusted wonderfully to living indoors. They walk around their cages just fine as they have adjusted to the deformity. This club-foot like abnormality is possibly from inbreeding and there may not be a way to 'fix' them. They will need an owner to adjust their house to their needs. They may be just fine or they may experience some limping, difficulty jumping or playing and do best with carpeted and padded areas. They will require regularly veterinary care like any other cat, but may need additional checkups to trim nails or clean their feet on occasion. Boxer (gray/white) and Mouse (black) are both wonderful boys who love to play and cuddle together. We absolutely would love for them to stay together as they have bonded since birth and have the same needs. They interact well with the other cats in our facility and enjoy their time outside of their cage. Though their paws are deformed, they still have the natural instinct to scratch--but they may not tear up your furniture! We do require that all other cats in the household be indoor only and current on annual vaccinations and veterinary care. They're adoption fee is $100 each or $150 for the pair. They are neutered and current on veterinary care. Please email [email protected] for more information regarding adopting!
