This sweet, sweet boy is looking for a new forever home because of some changes in the family that are forcing him to be alone for extended periods of time. Cash needs a new family who will have more time to run, play and cuddle with him. Cash is a 6-year-old German shepherd mix. His body shape looks like a whippet, slender, long tail, and a good medium frame. Cash is pretty shy with strangers in strange environments. He is never growly, snarly or bitey, just needs some time to get comfortable. It took him a solid 15-20 minutes when we met him before he had really relaxed, but even before that he gladly accepted scratches and head rubs. Cash is a medium-energy guy who enjoys exercise, but doesn't obnoxiously demand it. He is used to running and playing in a fenced back yard. Cash has been good with children and successfully lived with children in his family. He hasn't ever been around a large group of children, but individually he has been pretty patient. Cash prefers dogs his size or smaller. However, the right chemistry for a doggy companion might be more about temperament. Just like with people, Cash needs to take his time getting used to anything new. We don't know how he is with cats. Cash is neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped. He is housebroken and does not need to be crated.
