About DOOGIE

SAY HELLO TO DOOGIE ! Doogie is a delightful Lhasa Apso / Cairn Terrier mix boy. Doogie hasn't been around many people and can seem a bit skittish, but once he is comfortable, he is such a good boy. Doogie loves walks but just doesn't love putting in the harness and leash. He's getting use to it however, and does stay on the sidewalk mostly. Doogie will make you chase him around but if you have his favorite treat he will finally come to you. He loves playing with toys and will chase a ball forever. Doogie gets on well with other dogs and is happy to have them around. His ideal family would be one with another dog that is the same size and temperament. He also would thrive with an adult family or adults with older teens - no infants, toddlers or small kids. Doogie isn't house trained yet, so he will need gentle guidance from his new family to show him where to go and what to do. He is very bright and we are confident that he will learn quickly. Doogie does sit for treats and takes them gently. Doogie is really a super boy and will make such a wonderful addition to your family. Doogie is a longer coated breed that will require regular brushing as well as professional grooming and nail trims every 6 to 8 weeks. Doogie's adoption fee is $400.00 This fee includes all Veterinarian Wellness checks, neuter, all vaccinations including Rabies and Bordatella, microchip with lifetime registration, de-worming and professional groom.
