Beautiful, soulful Vixin is a three year old bully mix, with heart-melting eyes. We rescued her from the shelter's euthanasia list. Like most dogs that wind up at our local shelters, Vixin was someone's dog once, and most likely due to having Valley Fever, her owner didn't want her anymore. Our girl spent weeks in the hospital due to an upper respiratory infection and a large mass on her shoulder (which we found out was due to her having valley fever and not being treated). She is fully recovered from the URI, and is on medication for her Valley Fever. From what we know about Vixin, she is a sweetheart who loves to be around people, she loves to play with toys, and loves to show off when she receives new toys and bones. She would be an amazing addition to someone's family! We have not tested her out with cats, and as always, proper introductions would need to be done with any potential canine family members to see if they get along. Since Vixin has Valley Fever, we are reducing her adoption fee to $125.00 and will cover her medication for 6 months for the right family. We are also open to fostering if you aren't able to adopt at this time. http://2ndchance.rescuegroups.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=12719698
