Denny is a very sweet 6 yr old little boy rescued from a high kill shelter just in the nick of time! At the shelter, they noticed that Denny sometimes fell over when he ran around. That's not the best way to get adopted! We saved Denny and took him to a neurologist, who ran every test in the book including an MRI and spinal tap. Everything came back negative. He was treated with steroids, and Denny has greatly improved. Denny walks, runs and plays normally. Rarely, he can stumble and fall going up stairs, but this almost never happens. Denny has an old healed skull fracture that could have come from a fall when he was younger. The neurologist said that he will lead a long, happy normal life. Denny gets along great with his foster siblings and is well behaved. Denny is a small boy and weighs about 8 lbs. He is fully vaccinated and chipped. We'll have him neutered prior to adoption. Denny is very loving and devoted. He loves to sit by your side as you work on the computer or cuddle while you watch TV. Denny isn't perfect, but he's pretty close. Denny is looking for an adult home with someone who realizes that not everyone is perfect! If you live in the Southern California area and would like to meet Denny, please complete our adoption application found on dexterfoundation.com Adoption donation $150.
