About Ginger

Ginger Lee is a lovable 1 1/2 year old poodle who is looking for the perfect forever home! Ginger came to us with 5 newborn puppies a few month ago, and after being a wonderful mother to her babies, they have now ventured out on their own and it's time for this mom to be the one getting taken care of for a change! Ginger will need an active home as she still has all her young lady energy. Ginger is great with kids of all ages, great with dogs of all sizes, and is even good with cats. Ginger is housebroken if she has a dog door, may need a little training with being let inside and out. Ginger loves loves loves her people, and especially loves sleeping in bed with them. She is leash trained, a little nervous in the car but rides well. Ginger is a jumper so needs a secure fence at least 5 foot plus. Ginger is a huge love bug, and attaches quickly to her people. She even smiles when meeting new people. Ginger's ideal home would be a family with kids and another playful dog. Ginger has separation anxiety from her people and would not do well in a home where someone is gone 8 hours a day. Ginger is hypoallergenic and will need regular professional grooming. Ginger weighs 14 pounds full grown. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and vet checked. Her adoption fee is $350. Her adoption includes a free vet visit and 30 days of free pet insurance. Come meet her at our shelter location 1102 W Hatcher Rd, open Tuesday to Sunday 11am to 6pm.
