Shiner is my buddy and I hate to give him up. He is a 9 year old Texas Lacy Dog (not a Vizsla, but this breed was not one of the choices) - the State Dog of Texas! He is 60 lbs, neutered, and chipped. He is housetrained, crate trained, and knows all of his commands. He enjoys being around adults and is usually content just lounging around, so long as he gets a few minutes of playtime during the day. He is allowed to roam free during the day while my wife and I work and he doesn't have any issues with separation anxiety while we're gone. He is a good dog with adults 99.9% of the time, but unfortunately he has experienced unexplained aggression towards my wife three times. We are hoping to have a new child coming to our home soon and do not want to risk the baby's health, as Shiner has shown aggression towards children. He may be able to be trained out of this, but me and my wife unfortunately cannot fully trust him and do not want to take a chance.
