About Whisper

Whisper is a 2yr old spayed female German Shepherd/ Husky mix. She currently weighs 43 lbs but is very thin. Whisper hasn't had the best life. She was found as a stray by the dog warden in very poor condition. She was placed in the animal shelter and started to recover. Our rescue made the commitment to pull her from the shelter and was getting things in place for her. We had her sent to the vet to have her shots and heartworm testing. She was also scheduled to be spayed. Once at the vet they discovered that she was also pregnant and quite far along. We decided to allowed the puppies to be born. Less than 2 weeks later she went into labor. Sadly all of her puppies were stillborn. Well she has now recovered and is ready for a fresh start. We promised her that we will find a home who will love and care for her. She is great with children and other dogs. She is up to date on shots and wormed. She is already spayed.
