About Tunk

Tunk is a happy go lucky pup with a rough past. Found on the side of the road at just 3 months old, he was skin and bone with an injured leg that had gone too long without vet care, and according to vet, could not be mended. However, his leg quickly healed to a point of no pain and now he uses it for all activities, from running and jumping to wrestling with his best friend Dallas. Tunk loves to be loved on, to cuddle and to play. He is VERY high energy and needs lots of exercise and brain work! He is getting to 45lbs+ and thinks he is 5lbs, he doesn't know his own strength and is still very much a puppy! He loves every dog he's met so far and hasn't met a human stranger. He is fine with our cats, but he tends to chase others. We have horses as well and he does great around them. He would do best with older kids because of his high energy and size, he could topple over a toddler. He is crate trained, partially housebroken, is in the teething stage but loves his kong ball, he walks on lead, knows sit (when he is calm), and shows no signs of food aggression. He would do great in an active family home who can play with him daily with walks and has the time to give him love and cuddles and just be his perfect person/people. Tunks adoption fee is STRICTLY to get him neutered and vaccinated. He has been strictly kept in a home with zero diseases and only around other vaccinated adult dogs for his protection. This is the pricing our vet has given us to have him vetted. Potential homes will be screened, need veterinary reference and will receive a home check (yes, we will deliver Tunk to you!). There will be an adoption contract.
