Laila is a gorgeous, sweet, loving, playful, dog and people-friendly, 68-pound, six-year-old, female fawn and white Boxer looking for a loving guardian. Her birthday is January 31, 2012. Laila is full of butt wiggles and kisses. She has been adored and well-cared for since she was an eight-week-old puppy. Sadly, when her humans had a baby, Laila started growling. So, she's looking for a home where there are no toddlers or little children crawling around! Laila is accustomed to a home with a fenced-in yard. She previously lived with an older female bulldog, and she's accustomed to sleeping in bed with her humans. She's fine on leash and un-reactive to other dogs. She has not been cat-tested. And, she's never been crated. She's perfectly well-behaved in the home, housebroken, and not a chewer. Laila loves rides in the car and just hanging out with her favorite people. She knows the command sit and takes treats gently from your fingers. She is extremely healthy spayed, micro-chipped, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm and fecal-tested and on monthly preventative. Her adoption fee of $375 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits. If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Laila, please contact [email protected] for an adoption application. She is being fostered in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
