About Chance

Please help Chance! We fell in love with Chance and rescued him from a kill shelter in Miami Dade Florida. He had been stray and hit by a car and brought to the shelter there. He was also listed as 7 years-old. When he came to us in Maryland he had a limp. We had him evaluated and with anti-inflammatory meds, exercise, and supplements, he walks with almost no limp! His X-Rays show a torn ligament in his right knee which is why I said 'arthritis' in his history. I also put he was not good with kids because he seems to want to be dominant over my daughter. He attempts to intimidate her. It may be a situation we created. He may do fine with other kids. That's the bad, now the good. He is a sweet heart!! He LOVES to be with us. He is affectionate and cuddly. He is crate trained, doesn't bark, and sleeps through the night. When he came to us he had no leash manners. He is doing great with a leash now. He can also sit and stay (briefly). As of this moment he is in a two week, board and train facility learning even more manners! Although we would love to keep him here, the 2 dogs we have (foster fails) say that 'Three is a crowd.' We love this guy so we are putting effort in training him with a professional. We have to find a great home for our boy!! Please help!
