Name: Ms. Lucky Age: 3 years Breed: Long Hair German Shepherd Sex: Female (confirmed spayed) Location: Atlanta, GA Vet Info: Ms. Lucky is confirmed spayed. She is not up to date on vaccines and has not had a recent heartworm test. Ms. Lucky's owners tell us she was born totally blind and she does great! She weighs about 55 pounds. Owner Info: Ms. Lucky is a gorgeous girl in need of a new home. Her owners write that she's a wonderful dog, but they're not home very much and because of that, they're unable to give her the care she needs. They're also moving in March and can not take her. They have tried reaching out on their own, but, 'Nobody seem to want our Lucky!' She was saved from a creek when she was a puppy. Ms. Lucky is an outdoor dog with a fenced yard. She is housebroken but not leash trained. She's a friendly girl and is good with people of all ages, and male and female dogs. We asked how she is with cats, and her owners wrote, 'Lucky has never been around a actual cat so I just can not say for sure. Lucky is a pretty big girl but gets along fine with my lil old man. He is just 4 pounds!' Ms. Lucky is not possessive of toys, treats, or food. She has never bitten or snapped. Her owner gave us more information: 'Lucky does not play with toys at all. She does fine with treats and food. Actually, being she is blind, my two little dogs sneak over to her bowl and steal her leftover food all the time!' She has shown aggression only once because she was scared. Ms. Lucky's owners feel she adapts well to new situations even with her blindness. 'Yes, Lucky has moved several times and adjust well to any new environment but she loves being able to go outside when she wants to.' Ms. Lucky's owners tell us she's a healthy girl. 'Lucky is very healthy and had regular vet visit up until last year when I was disabled and not able to take her to vet. She is awesome!!' They also want us to know what a sweet girl she is! 'Again, Lucky is so awesome, kind, fun and loving. She needs a forever home where she can run and play and be outside within a fence.' 'Please contact [email protected]. Please note we will ask for a vet reference.
