About Hamilton

FOSTER LOCATION: Boise, ID Hamilton is a spunky 2 year old Basenji mix who's as cute as a bug's ear. He was adopted from Fuzzy Pawz almost a year ago but turned out to be way more energy than they were prepared to handle. This boy is a wonderful ball of energy! This little guy sure loves people! If you are looking for a dog who not just wants, but needs to be on your lap you've found him! He needs a home where he'll be welcome up on the couch with you for some loving. Hamilton if full of life and energy; he absolutely loves the toy box and checks it constantly to see if anything new has been added. He loves antlers and balls and will need a supply of good chew toys in his new home. Hamilton will need a home that is highly active and that can run him at least once a day; he is currently running with his foster dad 7-10 miles in the morning and LOVES it - he can keep up with any pace and can go and go and go just like the Energizer bunny. He'd likely really enjoy going out with you for a bike ride, hiking, camping, you name it and he'll be up for it. House and crate trained; he walks well on a leash and knows all the basics. He's smart and food motivated so training is fun for both of you. He is looking for an active home without children under 10. He enjoys the company of other dogs but can be a bit too bouncy for an old or shy dog; another dog in the home that can match his energy would be best..
