About Lola

$300 adoption donation Meet Lola! This lovely lady is a labradoodle, rescued from the shelter when she was VERY pregnant. One week after arriving at her foster home, Lola had 8 puppies. (not a single one looked like her--most looked like yellow labs with short ears) It's clear that she has not had a lot of socialization in her short life. She is very timid when meeting new people and animals. However, in her foster home she has been an absolute delight. She adores her foster mom, the nanny, and anyone she has had time to get to know. We believe she would do well in an adult only home, as in her foster home she lived through a remodel and was not happy with all the coming and going. She LOVES toys, and likes to play with her one 4 month old puppy who is still up for adoption. She also lives with a senior lab and does well with her. If there are other animals in the home they should be easygoing, friendly, non dominant. She is quiet, doesn't bark much at all, she will bark when people knock at the door (sometimes) or when she sees people in the yard that she doesn't know (utility workers). She is so sweet and affectionate, but it WILL TAKE TIME. If you are looking for an instant bond, she is not the dog for you. It took her about a week in her foster home before she would not sit in the corner and hide from her foster mom. She became friendly with one of the workers, as he always had treats and spoke in a gentle voice. Lola needs a 6 foot block wall--she can JUMP! She can easily scale a 4 foot wall. Lola is spayed, vaccinated, licensed in Maricopa county, microchipped, dewormed, and tested negative for heartworm, and tick borne disease.
