About Roscoe

Roscoe is wowing his foster mom with his sweet-as-sugar personality and zest for life. When this 9- to 10-year-old Rattie mix met his foster mom, he greeted her with abundant kisses and tail wags and quickly settled into the routine of his foster home. Roscoe gets along very well with the other dogs in his foster home, except for one who is too assertive for his taste. He's not comfortable around dogs that try to bully him, and he will defend himself. Roscoe isn't really high energy and walks nicely on a leash, but he really wants (and needs) a fenced yard, where he can have the freedom to walk around at his leisure and lie in the sun. This little man is fully crate trained and house-trained, but if you have to go out, he's trustworthy and doesn't need to be crated. Of course, if it's possible, Roscoe would rather go with you because riding in the car is a real treat! He loves to poke his nose out the opening in the window. Also high on his list of favorite activities is lap/snuggle time with belly and head rubs, and at 17 lbs. he's easy enough to scoop up for impromptu cuddle breaks. With his wrinkly forehead and soulful facial expressions, Roscoe is sure to melt your heart.
