About Missy

Missy was discovered in a woody natural reserve by children on a four wheeler. She was nearly starved, mauled, her teeth filed down and a rear foot sliced off. All of these are tell tale signs of dogs used for bait by dog fighters. She was so exhausted, she slept off and on for days. Eventually, with antibiotics, pain meds and lots of TLC, Missy recovered. She gained weight and is now 62 pounds and is even playful and good hearted. She gets along with all of the dogs at her foster home, which are small, large, various breeds and ages. She is also a very smart girl. She will come to you and wag her tail and whine when she wants to go to the bathroom. She is also already leash trained and very obedient. She LOVES people too and is quite partial to men for some reason. It may be because her foster dad enjoys spoiling her. This sweet girl was obviously a very loved pet in her life time.
