About Rosie

Rosie is still available for adoption. Due to personal reasons of the new owner, this person can no longer keep her. I have a very sweet female sphynx for adoption. She is about 4 years old. She is UTD on shots and has been spayed. She has no known health issues. The reason that I am rehoming her is due to my other cats in the home bullying her. We have had her about 6 months and have tried various things including consulting with our vet but it is not working out. For this reason I will only be adopting her to a home without other cats. Cats make her nervous and she spends most of her time on our bed or hiding from them. She does like our dog. She is also not real crazy about loud children, so a home with older children or no children is recommended. Rose is a real love bug. She enjoys cuddling and will want to sleep with you. She likes to talk and is playful. She will meow for food and attention, but does not meow all the time. She loves to a blanket to curl up under and sleep. She has perfect litter box manners. At first Rosie is shy and will need time to adjust. Initially she will hide. Once she is comfortable she loves to be near her person. She does not like to be picked up and is not a lap cat. Rose is TICA registered. She is not completely hairless which sometimes happens with this breed. She has very soft peach fuzz on her back. She may lose or grow hair throughout the year. Our goal is for her to be happy. Please send a little about your home and family. Vet reference required. We will not be adopting out of state. If you are allergic to cats you will most likely be allergic to a sphynx. They are not hypoallergenic. Please do not contact unless you have spoken to ALL members of your household.
