About Henry

Adoption Fee: $200.00
Weimaraner
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

1.6 to 2 year old Male silver weim. He was a rescue dog and therefore the previous owners I rescued him from had no idea his birth date. He had no shots or vet care. I provided all of that. He is examined and said to be in excellent health. Beautiful dog. Well behaved. House broken. Needs lots and lots of love and attention. Great with kids and other dogs. Not sure about cats. No health issues. Up to date on shots. Needs to be neutered. Henry needs a lot of room to run. That means he cannot be in a small home if there is not a fenced in yard for him to run or he will take off. He loves car rides and dog parks. He does suffer from separation anxiety and will tear the house up as he moans as if he is on his death bed. He is a joy but too much for me to care for. I also have a red bone coon hound that is his best friend and must find a home for him as well. I hate separating the two. He also needs leash training as he loves to drag whomever is walking him. Henry weighs about 75 pounds and is a very strong animal. Henry is my step son's dog and the step son left. I am remodeling my home as well and leave the house for long periods and I do not want to leave Henry in his kennel. I am not quite equipped to handle his high level of activity. I am asking for the re-homing fee so that he finds a loving home and not someone that cannot afford his needs. So please do not ask me to go cheaper. I have invested a lot of money into this beautiful animal and he is worth a mere $200 re-homing fee. He comes with a large kennel which is only a few months old and alone was $100. I also have his collar, and leash. He is not AKC but he is a purebred. You couldn't find a more loving weim. email me or call. I will not meet anyone halfway either. I have had a lot of people contacting me to get Henry. It seems that many people have no idea how much care goes into Weimaraner dogs. They are needy, wanna be by your side at all times, do not like being left alone, love attention, and cuddle like little babies. They are terribly loyal and if you cannot afford to give this to Henry then I am not even considering you as a forever home. If you have babies and toddlers I do not recommend him cause he likes to jump up and get hugs. The last family had four little children and poor Henry had his ears and testicles pulled and ripped on because the owners thought that it was cute to have him for their kids. Henry is a breed that needs adults and children that are past the kicking, poking, and pulling stage. If you do not have a fenced in yard you will lose the dog. Henry needs some minor training. He is still technically a pup and growing. He is a large dog breed of the Hound class. He is a fancy dog and walks like he is royalty. A perfect dog for those who appreciate the Weimaraners.
