About Fiona

Fiona had a litter of 10 puppies and neither her nor the pups were being cared for properly, so my husband & I took them in. Only 4 of the puppies survived. She has tested positive for heartworms & doesn't seem to like cats (of which we have 3). I feel both of these situations are fixable, but we do not have the resources to properly treat & train her. She displays no aggression towards us, even when we handle the puppies. She also allowed a child of 6 to handle her puppies on multiple occasions without any display of aggression. She seems to tolerate other dogs her size, but we have not been able to test her out with smaller dogs. We would love to see her go to a good home & not a shelter.
