About Duckie

We got Duckie when she was almost 10 months old, potty trained her and taught her how to live In a house. She loves everyone, thinks she's a lap dog and will not hesitate to stand on you. Though she got more greyhound than wolfhound she is not well suited for little children as her size she will knock them over and when she's trying to play will bat with her paw which can and has caused injury. She likes to jump up, though she's made great progress. She knows how to open lever handled doors and will let herself out for galavanting around the neighborhood. She loves to run and must have a place to exercise. Though she is lazy like greyhounds are, she has WAY more stamina. Going for walks is a MUST. She adores playing with other dogs and even though she doesn't know how to swim, she LOVES water. Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm preventative, heartworm test if over 6 months, insurance for 30 days, one free veterinary exam, microchip with registration, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided.
