'JETHRO' is just an awesome dog and so easy to be around. He is the type of dog that can spoil a dog owner because he really is that 'good'. Jethro is an adorable, sweet, 3 yr. old, 50 lb. mix we rescued from a very high kill pound. Jethro is a favorite of everyone he meets, as he is a happy, smart, sweet, small, calm, funny & very charming fellow. Jethro is a super cute 'low-rider' (short legged) and built like a fire plug (stocky). It's really an unknown what he is mixed with, as his coloring is like a Rottweiler. His small size makes him look like a 'pocket Rottie'. Jethro can be initially shy, but after a short bit of time with a gentle person, he bonds strongly and is a happy cuddle bug. Due to this initial timidity, we suggest no children under the age of 6 yrs old. Jethro is obedient, eager to please and just a joy to be around. Jethro is playful and likes other dogs, especially sweet, gentle dispositioned ones, like himself. A very, very easy dog to own for a 1st time dog owner. Jethro is neutered, has been de-wormed, is current on vaccinations, on monthly heart worm preventative, crate-trained and house-trained. All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., probiotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
