About Gemini18

Gemini came to us as a two-week-old baby after he was dropped off at a high kill shelter. He and his siblings were bottle-fed until they were weaned, and it was at that time that we discovered that one of his siblings had apparently nursed on his male parts and there was quite extensive damage. When Gemini was only three months old he had to have PU surgery to enlarge his urethra, so he could urinate. The good news is the surgery was totally successful, and he has absolutely no lingering problems. This surgery is done on adult male cats who consistently block (a life-threatening condition in male cats) because of crystals forming in their urine because Gemini has already had the surgery, so he will never run the risk of blocking. Gemini is a sweet and active little guy. He loves people, other cats, kittens, and he's a big purr machine when he is picked up. He loves to run around the kitten room in his foster home and climb up and down the cat trees, but he is equally content when he is tired in order to cuddle up with a buddy for a good snooze. Gemini is a real sweetheart who would like nothing more than a home with another cat or kitten to be his best friend.
