KoKo is an adorable, mellow, sweet, sensitive and gentle, two-year-old, 34-pound, tri-color male mixed breed dog looking for a loving guardian. KoKo is crate-trained and housebroken. He gets along beautifully with other dogs and cats. He just doesn't like it when other animals get close to his food. So, I feed him in a crate and that solves that problem. He's great in the car and fabulous on walks. He's also good in the yard. He's shy at first, but wonderful with all people of all ages. His only issue is that he hates having his nails trimmed, so I've been working on one nail at a time to gain his trust. He is extremely healthy, neutered, up-to-date on rabies, distemper and bordatella vaccines, micro-chipped and heartworm-tested. His adoption fee of $300 benefits the rescued dogs of Friends of Petraits. If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting KoKo, please contact [email protected] for an adoption application. He is being fostered in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
