About Layla and Finley

I have a tenant who is down on his luck. The tenant has two pit bull dogs, a mother and son. He told me that he cannot take care of them anymore, and will put them in the animal shelter today. I asked him to give me a few hours to, (hopefully), find a better solution. I think that the two dogs should stay together. However, the mother was abused and will be a difficult adoption. She is always scared and constantly has her tail between her legs. She is not good with other dogs, and that tends to influence how her son, (who is otherwise quite adoptable), reacts. She is leery of all strangers. It is really heart-breaking to see how the mother lives. The son is young, friendly, and good looking. The two dogs need love and attention.
