About Nilla

My name is Nilla. I am about 1 to 1 1/2 years old. I was found dumped in an alley with 2 others. We were hard to catch at first because of everything we had been thru in that alley we were scared and didn't trust anyone. My best friend is Mocha. We are very bonded and I am protective over her, not in a bad way...I just have to reassure her things are ok and safe. We were the lucky ones to have been caught and taken to a foster home until coming to Save A Dog Rescue. Our sister was not so lucky and we lost her in that alley as someone was shooting at us with something called a BB gun. She had been shot several times. I may bark at you for a minute but if you give me a little bit to get to know your ok, I will warm up quickly. I love to lay on your lap if Mocha saves me any room.Since I am still young I like to play with toys and chew sometimes on things my foster mom says we shouldn't have. I am working potty training but I will use potty pads in the house should I not make it outside. I am neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. I would really like a home where Mocha and I can stay together but we can be adopted separately if needed. I or we will need a home with a fenced in yard or would need leashed when let out to go potty. We have been on our own for a while so I could run off.
