If you're searching for the most devoted and loving best friend ever....Yogi is the dog you want to have around! Yogi, at just 11 months old and 28 lbs (such a perfect size for hiking the Colorado trails), is initially just a bit hesitant...then the most bonded and loving guy around. Yogi enjoys his time with his foster mom so much that he joins her just about everywhere...a true best friend! Yogi loves his people more than anything..he's a little snuggler and derives so much joy from his time spent with those that appreciate his sweetness and fun-loving ways. This very adorable guy exudes love and loyalty...and it's catching! Shelter personnel described this little guy as a 'morning high'. Every day when they arrived at work, Yogi was there to greet them with a wiggly hello and sweet kisses. They're very excited to send him on transport to Colorado for every possibility for a great new life. Yogi's Texas foster family had the following to say about this sweet pup: Yogi is an extremely loving and very funny and entertaining medium- sized dog (who needs TV anymore with this silly guy around). He has to be the cutest dog ever! When I was asked to foster a Pug/Labrador Retriever, I couldn't help but smiling and wondering what he would look like. I've found out that he's adorable! He's perfect for those that love the Pug breed (and their funny and very adorable faces) while desiring a more athletic guy that can accompany them on trails and outdoor adventures...and would love it! Yogi is a very affectionate dog who loves belly rubs and positive attention. His time spent with his family is what brings him his greatest joy. It's for this reason that Farfel's Rescue would like to place Yogi in a home where he's not alone for long hours while his family works outside of the home. He would be a joy for active retirees who have the time for a bonded best friend. Yogi would also be a gift to a younger family with dog-crazy older kids who want to include an adorable fuzzy guy in their lives. Yogi loves to play and socialize and is a positive and fun spirit to spend time with. Yogi is also very portable at 28 lbs and therefore able to accompany his family just about anywhere...be it to a friend's house, riding shotgun in the car or hiking on a trail...Yogi is ready and so excited. Yogi is a welcome guest in virtually every situation...when comfortable, his joy starts with his little wagging tail and works its way to the smile on his cuter-than-cute Pug face. Watch out - before you know it, he's crept into your lap (or cuddling close on the couch) and snuggled up to spend time together. Say the word walk ...or simply play together...and Yogi is all over it. Off he'll go in anticipation of not only an adventure, but fun interaction with loving humans and friendly, gentle dogs. Yogi has an amazing attitude and we feel that he will be an excellent companion and a gift to a dog-loving family. Yogi will be arriving on transport in Boulder on Friday 2/2/18.
