About Shasta

Howdy do! My name is Shasta, and I'm a sweet, cuddly, easy-going gray tabby DSH little girl with a white bib and 4 white mittens who was born in July 2017. Don't you love my sweet, angelic face? I love to spend time in my foster meowmy's lap, and I would probably be great with a family with kids. I get along with all the 4-legged critters in my foster home -- both other kitties as well as the little doggies. Yet I can play independently -- I'm perfectly capable of entertaining myself. Nothing I like better than that Turbo Scratcher toy -- the ball that I spin around in a circular track with a cardboard scratcher in the middle. It just keeps me mesmerized! I was a part of a feral mama cat's litter who was found on a farm and rescued by a Good Samaritan, who turned us over to Buster's Friends so we could be socialized and adopted. Hey, I'm glad I kissed goodbye that hardscrabble life of surviving out in the country! As much as I like my foster home, I'm ready for my forever lifetime home -- be it only me and one human companion or a family of all ages with a menagerie of other animals. I just want a loving home to live out my nine lives! Shasta is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted.
