About Polly

Beautiful purebred long haired dachshund, 3 y.o., small 8-9 lbs. Was rescued from puppy mill pregnant and raised 4 cutest pups. Polly is scheduled for dental and spay on Jan. 18 and will be ready for adoption after that. She will do the best in mature quiet household with someone who is mostly home. No apartments as she is very spooky and not liking leash at all. She is very skittish and afraid of strangers, but super sweet with people she knows. She is scared of children and hides from them. Loves other dogs and will benefit from having a buddy to snuggle with. She doesn't know how to play with other dogs and usually just chasing them around the yard, barking at them. Polly is doing good with potty training but does need to be in the same routine as any changes in schedule set her back. She loves belly rubs and sleeps with her belly up, so cute. Very cuddly girl. No out of state adoptions, please.
