~ MEET MAX ~ COURTESY POST ~ Sweet hound boy! Oh boy! Look into my eyes: you are getting snuggly, very, very snuggly. You will be rubbing my velvet pancakes (ears) before you know it! My name is Max and I must be magic because as soon as you meet me, POOF, you will want to pet me! You probably want to know about my hobbies. I LOVE to snuggle and nap most of the day. A few times a week I get to run off leash and smell ALL the smells with my hound nose and play with my foster friends! If you like games we could play 'clicky'. Those clicker training games are so fun! My foster mom is a dog trainer so she can even teach you how to play. I'm grown, approximately two (2) years old, so you don't have to worry about accidents in the house. I will love you when you are home, but if you need to go to work all day, that is ok! I'm a pretty cool guy because I like my crate but I can go without one. I'm getting good at car rides and even learning to visit public places. I got to go INSIDE A MALL! I know a few tricks like sit, beg, kisses, and touch, so we could impress all of your friends. I also know how to be a 'block' and help hoomans do yoga. In general I am just a silly guy. I am so happy when I make people laugh! After looking at my pictures you probably think I am a champion show dog. My legs are long and gorgeous, so sometimes my play area needs a taller fence. Those smells are just so good I forget where I am! I'm an awesome hound because I like to run around and smell all the types of birdies but I won't fetch them for you. I wish all the types of birdies lived in the yard! If you have small and fuzzy animals that is ok, I live with four bunnies! I have lots of doggie friends too of all sizes from shih tzu to other big lugs like me! My doggy friends are of all ages, hooman friends too! Kids are great. They really think I am something! I don't really jump up on people much and mind my manners. I'm pretty quiet at home, but when I get excited my voice is booming. I am learning to go out to public places so sometimes I tell people 'Hi' and they say 'Wow, what a big voice!'. I can also sing to an ambulance...BACKWARDS! Some of my cousin hounds talk all the time, but that just isn't my style. Will you look into my eyes and love me furrever?
