About Fireball

OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. Hi everyone! I'm a super smart little guy and my name is Fireball. K-9 Angels found me all alone on the streets. Foster Mom thinks I survived because I am so smart! I'm a cute little short stack, with short legs but sturdy! I must of survived on human food because I can smell it the moment you get it! I beg for people food but it's not good for me so Foster Mommy says NO! I get along with all the dogs big and small at my foster home and love to play with them. I play well by myself but I'd rather be with a dog buddy or with you. I have lots of energy for a puppy mainly because I'm learning how to live inside and there's so much to play with. I love to chew on little bones and antlers. Now that I am inside I really like having toys and a soft, comfy bed! In just two days I learned to use the doggy door! If I am in the playpen I will whine for you to let me out so I can go potty! At night I love sleeping in my kennel snuggled up to my stuffed bear and will let you know when it's time to go potty. I am very persistent about getting outside. If you will just scoop me up and get me outside I will do my business quickly. Sometimes I can't make it to the grass, but Mommy says that's okay because it's better than going in the playpen or kennel. I know my name so I will come running when you call me. I also know the words HUSH and NO! You are going to love my handsome face and playful, loving personality. Did I mention that I like to be held when I'm sleeping? I will come to you and try to climb up your leg to be picked up. I'm a Fireball and I'm on fire to get to my furever home! Fill out an application today for me! I won't be at the Adoption Center until I've had my 2nd shot, but applications are being accepted now! If approved a meet and greet can be arranged. Fireball is a Male Pug / Bulldog Mix that we estimate to be born around 11/1/2018 and currently weighs 9 lbs. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
