German Shorthaired Pointer / Border Collie
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

****The website is updated several times daily. Please do not email to ask if there are still dogs/puppies available.**** PLEASE READ CAREFULLY! YOU WILL FIND THE ANSWER TO ALL BASIC QUESTIONS BELOW. Please read carefully Before emailing. *Marci is a 1-2 year old mixed breed dog. She appears to be a GSP mix with a natural tail. She has a longer coat than a purebred would have. We have no way to know what her exact mix is. Marci is a nice mid-sized girl about 40 pounds. *Marci has been in foster care with another rescue since November. She recently came to PFR for a chance to find a forever home. She is house trained and is used to being crated at night and when her family is gone. Marci lived with two cats in her previous foster home. It was reported that she would chase them if given a chance, but not try to hurt them. She may be fine in a new home with cats given a proper introduction. Marci has not lived with kids. She will likely be fine with dog friendly kids. Marci is Not a high drive, high energy sporting dog. She is perfectly content being a family pet and will fit in to a variety of homes. She will really blossom with some training, and would do well with an in home trainer or in group classes. *Each pup is spayed or neutered and current on their vet cares. *We do not hold or reserve dogs. We do not ship or fly. Prospective families must come to NORTHFIELD MN to meet. Aside from monthly adoption events, we do not meet in the Twin Cities* *Emails are answered in the order they are received. We are receiving a large number of emails, so answering promptly is our goal. If you are interested in adoption, your prompt responses are the best way to get through the adoption screening* *Paws First does not accept checks or credit cards. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DENY ADOPTIONS AT ANY POINT IN THE ADOPTION SCREENING PROCESS.* If you have read this far, you are ready to start the adoption process! Please email for the next step, which is a short email interview to get started.
