About Cooper

FOSTER LOCATION: Boise, ID Cooper is a 3 year old Carin Terrier/Chinese Crested/Chihuahua mix who is simply the most delightful dog you can ever imagine. He bonds quickly with everyone, including the other pets in the household. This handsome yet goofy looking fella came to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue after he would not stop peeing on things in his previous home. At their wits end and with a small child in the home they asked Fuzzy Pawz for help and we were happy to do so. Cooper adjusted immediately to his foster home, and quickly made a place for himself. He is most content on your lap and loves to curl up or lay on your chest and look at you adoringly with his big brown eyes. He's been used to getting on furniture somewhere along the way, but is doing well with learning that he needs to be invited up. He is doing better in his house training but is not 100% yet; with a very consistent schedule and training, he is making progress. A belly band and regular trips outside and he will eventually always remember to go outside to potty; he just needs someone dedicated to a schedule. This is his only flaw. Otherwise, he's nearly a perfect companion. He has never barked in his foster home, despite being thrown into group parties and lots of visitors to his home over the holidays. He's been friendly to everyone he meets and melting hearts along the way. Cooper is crate trained, and loves a crate so much he puts himself to bed when he's ready. He really loves to take his toys into his 'cave' and is content to hang out there with them. He walks pretty well on a leash, and is adventurous and outgoing.
