Who said beauty is only skin deep? Meet Keiko, she came into rescue after she and her male Akita partner were taken to a public shelter. Although Keiko's partner was adopted, Keiko was left behind and she became quite depressed. After coming to the Akita Ranch her demeanor has changed. She is happier and bouncing back! Keiko has a very sweet nature and loves her people deeply. Loyal and tender, she lives for affection and bonding time with her human friends. Keiko loves toys, giving kisses, and frolicking around the play yard! She is not a high energy dog but enjoys nice walks exploring the world around her. She is selective with dogs and would need proper introduction and time, to accept another dog. With her loving nature and sensitive heart, Keiko would relish being an integral part of your family.
