Folks, I'm more than just a handsome face! My name is Alfie, and I'm 1 year old, 40 lb Wheaton Terrier/Poodle (best guess!) mix who is looking for a NY/tri-state area foster or forever home. Right now I'm in NYC, but the city is definitely not for everyone! I'd be much happier in a more laid back and quiet environment without so many noises. I'm thinking long walks on beautiful country roads! I'm still a young dude and very puppyish in my behaviors, so I need a securely fenced yard to run around in during the day. I'm still learning that humans are not chew toys, so due to my mouthy behavior, very young kids are not the best fit. A home with older kids who will correct me would be best. The big question (yes, I know!): Am I hypoallergenic? All I can say is that I seem to have hair, not fur, so I may good a good match for someone who gets the doggie sniffles, although this is not a guarantee. am neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated, and my adoption fee is $425.
