About Akilah

This gorgeous little lady is Akilah! She is 5 years old and she is something else. The name Akilah in Arabic means wise, bright, and smart. If you meet Akilah, you will instantly know this name was not chosen at random. Akilah is completely blind but has absolutely no issues with getting to know her environment and most people who meet her can't believe she can't see! She is full of love, extremely intelligent, and very adaptable. Akilah loves having doggie friends around to help guide her and to even play with and give kisses. She loves going for walks, taking car rides, and treats! Because she can't see where she is, her new home will require a fenced in yard. Akilah seems to have no desire to leave her humans but she may accidentally find herself away from home. Akilah hasn't come in contact with cats so we aren't sure how she would do in a home with one. She is great with other dogs and also loves children. Akilah is crate trained however doesn't require crating, up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250.
