About Derby

This cute boy is Derby. He is a Lab/Mastiff who was born in mid-August. He is a sweet guy who loves to have fun, then cuddle with his people. Derby has a great start. He already knows her name. He also knows the commands up, in, and outside. Derby is also trained to the potty pad but knows to go outside if he has access to the door. He is also crate trained. Derby is good with men, women, and kids. He is a bigger pup, so I infants could be knocked over. He is also good with large and small dogs. Derby is a fun guy, too. He knows how to fetch and does return the ball some of the times. He loves to run and likes to play with toys, especially bones. He loves to play with his dog pals. He is also polite around sheep and horses! Derby is learning about the leash and about car rides. So far, he is polite. Derby can be a tad bit shy when meeting new people and dogs. However, if he is given a moment to make an introduction, he warms up quickly. Derby is Amazing at agility and hiking. He leaps over logs, climbs hills, and runs on a long line with you. He is very aware of her surroundings and alerts to changes. He quickly quiets as soon as you check out the 'event' and let him know he did a good job. Derby is eager to please. Derby sleeps quietly all night and loves to be snuggled up against you. He is excited to see you every time you return. Derby is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Derby is ready to meet potential adopters in SoCal. A home visit and vet reference are required.
