About Venus

Hi, my name is Venus...you've seen me before and I raised quite a ruckus. I am living in Strang at the present time, waiting for a space to open at SWAT for a BIG dog. I have put on a few since I've been here, weighing in at about 70 lbs...but let me back up. I lost track of my original ower. I don't really know if they lost me or just didn't want me but when I was found by the lake, I was very skinny, full of fleas and ticks, no ID, no chip and no one came looking eventhough my picture was posted all over Facebook. Someone in the neighborhood called SWAT, and then someone else called and said that they wanted to adopt me. They soon left and I was homeless again. My foster mom is keeping me safe, feeding me, and I have a heated garage to sleep in at night..but I really want, really need, a forever home. I am about 4 years old, SWAT got me out of the baby making business, I get along with EVERYONE and EVERYTHING. I am sweet and, I'm told, very affectionate for a Hounddog. I think both my mama and daddy were Treeing Walker Coonhound. I wouldn't mind hunting a little but a warm place at the foot of your bed at night is a must.
