About Baby Lucy

Lucy and her brother, Ricky, are sweet and silly, smart and affectionate pups just like any pup of their breed should be. Though we do not know their exact birthday we are placing it at around October 18th of 2017. Lucy is the more laid back and cuddly of the two and willing to let Ricky go out and explore so she can learn from his mistakes. She gets along great with all the dogs in her foster home - from the tiniest to the ginormous. She will let a cat set limits for her. And, she is young enough that she can be taught to get along with any other animals that might be in or around her home. Lucy thinks kids are great but, because she is still so young, we are looking for a home where any children she would be around are old enough to understand how to play with a very small pup. All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live. Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed if necessary, de-flea'd (with topical treatment if old enough, and by medicated bath if too young), spayed/neutered, microchipped, is up to date on shots, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a lead and collar, and a folder containing pertinent records.
