*** We are not a dog pound or shelter with open hours. All dogs are in foster care. Meet & greets are scheduled after pre-adoption applications are submitted and approved. Meet & greets will begin to be scheduled on Tuesday, Dec. 19th ** =========================================== 'HONEY BEE' is an adorable 5 month old Lab mix female who born to a pure bred Lab mother whom we rescued from a high kill dog pound. Honey Bee is very smart, silly and extremely affectionate & loving. She loves to give soft kisses. Honey Bee has been de-wormed, is current on vaccinations, leash trained, crate-trained and house-trained. (She is still too young to be spayed, as Veterinary research indicates that early spaying/neutering may have a causal link to later-in-life chronic conditions [ex. ACL issues, Cushings, etc.] because of the cut off of growth hormones). All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., probiotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
