Miss Gracie is one of the most MELLOW and easy going dogs we have ever rescued. She is great in the house but needs someone who works from home since she has separation anxiety, is not destructive but barks when anxious. Gracie was clearly a family dog and was well taken care of. She is only 35 pounds, has the body of a brindle plot hound and the legs of a basset, but not as short! She is very gentle, super appealing, good with kids and other dogs. Seems to ignore cats. Gracie loves to lay around but when she sees an open door she will bolt. Which is probably how she got lost! This gal needs a fenced yard or a condo life with a dog park. Gracie would be happy as a couch potato, going for walks (good on a leash) and in a safe home where she cannot bolt! Gracie has been vetted and will be spayed on adoption. She is heartworm negative, housetrained, about 2-3 years old. Ask us for more pics. See her video. Please fill out an application on www.crisisdogsnc.org We do not keep good adopters waiting.
