When her family took her puppies away Anna ran away to find them. They all ended up in a high kill shelter in South Carolina. Mom and babies separated, the puppies were adopted out and Anna was left alone. When we heard her story, we rushed to save her and bring her into foster. Anna was scared and shy, but soon realized she was in loving hands. Treated for heart worms, spayed and brought up to date on shots, Anna is now happy and healthy. The vet said she was around 3 yrs old and she weighs 45 lbs but needs some more weight, we are taking care of that. Anna is wonderful with the children and very gentle with the baby in her foster, she sniffs him and gives him tiny kisses. She is just a sweet heart. She is housebroken. Anna is one of those special dogs who would be a perfect family dog and a wonderful therapy dog.
