HIS ADOPTION FEE IS $300** Rhett is an 8 month old blue Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog). Rhett came to H3R with very little ability to use his right back leg. He underwent a Femoral Head Osteotomy surgery, spent a few months in rehabilitation, and has recovered beautifully! He does still get sore if he plays too much and needs time for his hip and leg to fully recover, but it doesn't slow him down one bit. He walks, runs, plays, and cuddles just like all the other dogs. Rhett is extremely smart, and would do best in an active family that understands both his energy level and his limitations. He loves playing with dogs and people, but can take some time to warm up to other dogs. After he gets comfortable, he is a complete lovebug. He would do best in an home with a non-dominant dog(s). He enjoys being around his people constantly, and is very alert so he never misses a thing. This cute boy is an all-around great dog who can't wait to find his forever family. Rhett is up to date on all vaccines, neutered, on HW/flea preventatives, crate trained, and potty trained.
