About Gus

I am looking to rehome my beloved dog, Gus. He has tons of land to run on but does not get the love that he needs. My husband who is not a dog lover, refuses to let him in the house. Gus literally lays by the door and stares at me wanting inside ALL of the time. He deserves more love. He is fantastic with my kids (4 & 8) and loves to protect his family. He could use some obedience with barking at strangers. He has been a bit inconsistent with other dogs. Some dogs he loves and others he gets aggresive with...especially if there if food around. He had never been used as a hunting dog however he spends most of the day chasing birds on our 200 acre farm. He is taken care of and has somewhat of a good life but I just know in my heart he could live a better life. He is my baby and I want nothing more than for this sweet guy to be spoiled with love. * I MUST know that a new situation would be a better one.
