About AGNUS

I am desperately searching for a home for a 6+ year old, Siamese rescue I've been working with since early July. She is highly stressed in our home, and does not fit in well in our cat or son. She doesn't like young'er' children, and is timid around men. She could greatly benefit and be the perfect companion for someone in the right situation. I know you're out there. I know this cat has potential; however, she is currently scheduled for surrender on 1/3/2018. HISTORY: I took her in because her story reached me. She was scheduled for surrender to the shelter by her owner because she began pooping on the carpet after a new cat was introduced to Agnus' home of 6 years, and because the owner's terminally ill mother needed care. Based on all description and record, which I can provide, I felt she would be a good match & companion for my 4+ year old, indoor, female cat. SHE LOVES: She loves sunny windows, fuzzy blankets, to sleep with you, to play with paper balls, cat toys, cords & strings...she likes her head scratched, and when you work on the computer, and talk to her, or do laundry (her favorite). Any other issues I'd greatly appreciate to discuss with someone that is seriously interested in providing her a home. I'm willing to work with you. Please. Help. She stays very near or in her safe place often. My cat, who was once interested in her, is now just very antagonizing to her, I assume, because the newness continues to wear off and they are establishing dominance. The 'new' cat continues to growl, hiss, fight and nip, though, she can be loving, engaging, fun, and relaxed at the right time. She was scheduled for owner surrender in July because of a litterbox issue with pooping on the carpet. This issue continues to a much lesser extent, as it happens less frequently, and she tends to use the litterbox mat. She also must be fed small amounts of food several times a day, as she tends to have a sensitive stomach.
