About Adira

Sweet Adira is a happy girl with a sad story, but a very bright future ahead of her. When Adira was first seen at the county shelter by one of our staff members, it was hard to even get a good look at her darling face. Adira hid in the corner of her concrete kennel, turning away from anyone who tried to get her attention. Slowly this gentle girl let us see her and once we looked into her eyes, we knew we had to change her life! Adira was busted out of the shelter, and got to go to a loving foster home with dog friends to show her that it's ok to trust people. Slowly but surely Adira learned to love people, love to play, and has grown into the happy puppy we always knew she could be! Adira is now 10 months old and weighs around 40 pounds. Adira will still need a very patient, gentle and loving home who will allow her the time she needs to adjust to the big life change of being adopted. Adira would do well in a home with another dog to teach her the routine. Adira is housebroken as long as she is let outside & knows how to walk on a leash. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and vet checked. Her adoption comes with 30 days of free pet insurance, and with a free vet visit. Her adoption fee is $160. To meet her come to our shelter location 1102 W Hatcher Rd open Tuesday to Sunday from 11-6.
