Baxter's owner was no longer physically nor financially able to take care of him so he was owner surrendered to MBR. Poor Baxter hadn't been to the vet in some time and had a horrible flea allergy. Baxter has had a full blood work up, a dental, and has been neutered; all is well with Baxter. Although not an easy road getting all his medical needs taken care of, he is happy and doing good. He really hopes to find a home to call his own. He does okay with the other dogs in his foster home but is kind of an attention hog. He follows his human everywhere and may enjoy being an only pet. Baxter is a good watch dog. He is house trained and would prefer to be locked in a kitchen or laundry room vs a crate. He really isn't a fan of crates. He would do best in a quiet laid back home. He gets a little anxious with a lot of coming and going and noise in the home. A fenced yard would be ideal for him. No electric fence for this guy. Since we believe he has Hound him, an electric fence doesn't always work well with Hounds. weight: 45 pounds age: 6 - 8 years old adoption fee: $150
