About Munchkin

I haven't had the easiest life prior to coming to Michiana. I was found running as a stray and was completely emaciated. My new friends at the shelter call me Munchkin because I am just a little lady, barely 30 pounds. I cannot tell them what I've been through, but I am ready to find a family who will treat me with lots of love. Even though I haven't been treated wonderfully, I still know how to love people. I like to give hugs and curl into your arms. I would like it if my new owners can take it slow with me and let me adjust at my own pace. My world has changed for the better now, so I am trying to acclimate the best I can. Regarding other animals, I'd like it best if it was just me for now. I may be able to be introduced later on once I calm down in a home, but currently the best thing for me would just to be the center of your attention. I haven't met too many kiddos, but am quite people friendly. If there are children in the home around 13 years and older who are respectful of dogs, I'd be interested! I am learning how to sit and walk nicely on a leash. My first priority is making you happy. I'm content to chill next to you outside in the sunshine or inside under a blanket on the couch. I am so thrilled for the next step in my journey - finding a family to call my own who will treat me with care and love. I am very hopeful that my dream will come true. Love, Munchkin.
