*Snowy is a Kintamani Dog but that option is not in the drop down. He looks very much like a Samoyed so I've chosen that breed instead. . Snowy was an Indonesian beach dog before being rescued. The rescue's founder visited him regularly there and observed the strong bonds he made with western visitors who would feed and play with him. She suspected he was not in need of rescue for a long while because of his popularity with the tourists until one day when she found him sick and asleep in the rain. . He was too weak and indifferent to search for shelter so he lay there ignored and overcome with a local fungus. On antibiotics, Snowy can recover temporarily but not indefinitely in the Indonesian moisture. His immune system can't beat the climate. He needs a dry environment in order to heal or he will always suffer. . He is a loyal boy with a love for people. He is independent, laid back and respects authority - though who can say how quickly he'll acclimate to life as a spoiled prince upon arrival in the western world? When introduced to air conditioning for the first time, he was so giddy he lapped the room like a puppy. The essentials we take for granted here are luxuries there and even the dogs know it. . Snowy is sponsored and will be flown here once a foster or adopter is secured. We just need to find someone who will commit to him.
